For the first time in Woodgrove history, there was a tie in the votes for Homecoming Queen. Seniors Ami Cook and Carissa DeLitta shared the title and honor of being Homecoming Queen, accompanied by King, Senior Jack Klimek. The queens, as well as the rest of the court, were honored at the Homecoming football game on Friday, October 23, as well as at the dance on Saturday, October 24.

Cook is a member of Partners’ Club and works in the cafeteria at Mountain View Elementary. After graduation, she hopes to work at the new Purcellville Chick-fil-A. DeLitta participates in the Special Olympics and has received gold, silver and bronze medals in the Olympic State Games. She also loves Karaoke. Klimek is a member of the varsity golf and tennis teams and the sports editor for the Woodgrove Outlander. He plans on attending James Madison in the Fall.
