NFL Draft 2022
On February 8, 1936, the first NFL draft was held. There are many differences between past and present drafts. In the earlier drafts, not all the players that were drafted would go on to continue a career in the NFL. The first overall pick in the 1933 draft, Jay Berwagner, opted to become a rubber salesman as a career path instead of the road to athletic stardom.
In the modern day draft, in addition to where they sign, athletes are equally concerned with the type of fashion they wear as they walk across the stage. Varying fashion styles attract a wider draft audience and lead to more media attention. On April 28, these athletes walked across the stage in style and found their new home.
