Journalism History: This is Honor’s third year in journalism.
Why they joined: She took Intro to Journalism her freshman year after her 8th grade English teacher recommended it. She loves all types of writing, and loves all of the new people she has met and friends she has made through the program.
Favorite topic: She loves writing about the community, and academics and teachers.
Extracurricular activities: Honor is a debutante, Girl Scout Ambassador and volunteer, board member of Student Leaders, Quill and Scroll Honor Society member, Rho Kappa member, and Mu Alpha Theta member. She also serves as one of Woodgrove’s Superintendent Advisory Committee representatives and works as a babysitter over the summer.
Hobbies: She loves watching football and basketball, cooking, doing hair, makeup, and nails, writing, and spending time with her friends.
Fun Facts: She is from San Diego. Her favorite artist is Gracie Abrams, her lucky number is 11, and her favorite color is pink. She is a Miami sports fan and loves watching F1. Her dream job is to be an ESPN anchor. She used to be a competitive dancer. She also loves flowers, collects snow globes, 90’s Marlins Catalogs, and 2000’s Vogue magazines.
